Surgery

The surgery suite at OVVH is fully equipped and staffed to handle almost any surgical need. These include dental, orthopedic, soft tissue, oncological procedures as well as pet population control procedures (Spaying and Neutering)

Anesthesia

Our surgical team employs the latest in safe anesthetic techniques with constant cardiac and vital sign monitoring. Our doctors always advise pre-anesthetic laboratory testing to minimize the risks inherent to anesthesia.

To insure the health and safety of all our guests, we insist that pets with overdue vaccines receive them on arrival.

• We check all guests for fleas and external parasites on arrival.

• Flea bathes and "refresher grooming" are provided at the owners expense.

• Because we are a veterinary hospital we handle any medical problem that may occur. Clients are billed at the regular rate for these services.

• We are aware that it is always different leaving home, so we suggest limiting food and water intake for the first day of the visit and on homecoming day.

Please accept our invitation to visit our Boarding and Grooming facilities. We love "showing off" our newest addition to OVVH.

At the time of admission, one of our staff will discuss an estimate of charges with you. In most cases a deposit will be required and credited toward your final balance. All payments are due at the time of release. Our hospital receptionist must check in and discharge all boarding and grooming pets at the reception desk. This is to provide the hospital with a patient census for your pet's safety. We appreciate your cooperation. For your convenience, we accept local checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card. Financing can be arranged on approved credit. Please feel free to discuss any fees with the doctors or practice manager if a question arises. We compute our fees for a fair profit to enable the hospital to invest in the latest equipment to serve your pets possible needs. Our taxes help to support the Orange community needs. OVVH will be here when needed.

• Our accommodations are designed to provide the cozy, secure environment that felines love.

• "Kitty Condos" - where kittens enjoy viewing the groomers at work - providing great entertainment!

• All cats sleep on a sanitary, soft sheepskin rug.

• Condos have separate areas for eating
  and sleeping.

• Fully trained staff - Veterinary Assistants feed, water and walk each geust twice daily. All 
  suites are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least twice daily or more as needed.

For your pet's protection, we offer various flea treatments at the hospital. Flea baths are available in our grooming facilities and should be considered part of your pet's health maintenance. Fleas are not tolerated in any hospital, boarding or grooming facilities. Our technicians are trained to recognize fleas and the problems they cause and will recommend the appropriate treatment to control them. Flea control is required while your pet is stating at OVVH. The OVVH staff is highly trained to educate you, the client, and is interested in your pet's health and welfare.
