Hello, my
name is Patch Igarashi. I am a 9-year-old Rottweiler/German
Shepherd Mix. I was adopted by my owner from the Orange shelter
at only six weeks old. According to my owner, I was an adorable
ball of black and brown fur with extrordinarily large paws
quietly sleeping in my cage. After all of the dogs were seen,
she finally picked me out from all of the other dogs too. The
other lady waiting in line also wanted me…but I was already
taken.

I’ve
been extremely healthy until this last year. I started to loose
my appetite, had hardly any energy, and also lost a lot of
weight. My owner became very concerned with my health. I was
taken to another vet with no success in solving my internal
problems. After I was referred to Dr. Slaton and Dr. Horn,
extensive testing was conducted and we finally discovered that
I have inflammatory bowel disease. I’m currently taking
medications and I am finally feeling a lot better and have
much more energy. I’m finally getting back to my normal
hyper, friendly self. I’m really glad I got to meet Dr.
Slaton and Dr. Horn. Thanks again everybody at Orange Villa
