Cody and
Sadie
Sadie is a three year old Australian Shepherd / Border Collie
mix that we adopted when she was six months old. She is a sweet
loving dog always wanting to please. She is a distemper survivor
and we’re sure her positive attitude helped her to survive
that terrible disease. She’s really good at agility –
a real competitor! She often amazes the groomers as she jumps
the gate to greet us when we come to pick her up. She loves to
have her tummy rubbed and her favorite thing to do is to go for
rides in the car. She also loves to harass her brother Cody every
chance she gets! She is truly a remarkable girl and loyal friend.
We are so lucky to have her!!!
Cody, our German Shepherd will turn nine on the Fourth of July.
It seems like just yesterday that he was five months old running
through the house with a candy cane in his mouth. One that he
had plucked from the tree on his very first Christmas. He’s
matured into a very sweet loyal dog and he has done well in the
obedience classes he has attended. His bad hips have kept him
from sports such as a agility, but they haven’t kept him
from one of his favorite pastimes—chasing his tail! He loves
to have the top of his head scratched and he loves t go for rides
in the car. He really loves to bark at people who get too close
to the car when he’s in it. He may appear scary to some,
but he’s just one great big lovable goofball. We are so
lucky to have him!!!
