B. J. (Bundle of Joy) I’m an 8 years and 8 months old Lhasa Apso. I was so happy when dad, mom, and Sandy found me at Petco. I was so sad when I was given up by my previous owner, who moved out of state and couldn’t take me with them because of their jobs. When my new family first brought me home, I kind of had a mind of my own. If you tried to take something of mine, like food, I might bite you. On my first day in my new home, I thought mom was going to take my bone and I bit her on the hand, which didn’t sit too well. I soon learned after some re-training and a lot of work not to do that anymore—there were new rules. Sandy and I are the best of buddies and play well together, although Sandy still lets me know that he is the boss at times. We like to go for walks and car rides with mom and dad. Sometimes we go camping and to new places which are fun. Dad and mom take us to Orange Villa to see the doctors and gang who take good care of us. The shots are not much fun, but we are good boys and don’t give the crew a hard time, ha ha. P. S. Thank you for letting us be the pets of the month.
