August 15th, 1991 was the luckiest day of my
life! That’s when I was adopted from the animal shelter
at 8 months of age and given the name “Zoey.”
In those days, I was very inquisitive, rambunctious,
and wanted to play 24/7 with anything that squeaked. Several
nicknames have been given to me over time due to my high energy
level, but “hula butt” was the one that stuck. Although
I’ve not done a lot of traveling, I’ve especially
enjoyed my visits to Grandma’s house in Murrieta. Those
country evening outdoor scents are so yummy!
Now, in my senior years, I chase balls
less, sleep more, and my black coat is tinged with white. I
still love my walks and cherish the time I spend hanging out
with my mommy. I owe my good health to Dr. Horn and the OVVH
staff who have provided excellent care throughout the past
14 years.
