My
name is Sadie! I am a Queensland Heeler, and I am the runt of
the litter. I began my life in a rescue shelter. I stayed there
for 3 ½ months because I was too small and very sick. I
had a strong heart and great determination that some day someone
would pick me out to take home.
My
new owners picked me and my new brother, who was in another cage,
to take home. They took me to see Drs. Horn and Dahlem the very
next day. I sure liked the doctors, because they took such good
care of me. They even sent me to see a specialist when I didnt
seem to get well. Now I take pills everyday and feel great!
I
play with my big brother as best I can, because my legs are very
short and crooked, but I can make lots of noise that he likes.
He runs around the house while I sit in one place and bark a lot.
I
can get to the front window almost as fast as Joey to bark loudly
and defend my home. Joey thinks he owns all the toys, but I know
how to out smart him and play with what I want.
My
owners put me in my own princess carriage, thats
what they call it, to take me with them when we all go for a walk.
Joey has to be out in front, but I dont care as I can sit
and ride the whole way and see everything. I have made lots of
friends on our walks. They all come to see me and pat me on the
head.
I
have a wonderful home, and my owners and brother love me a lot.
I was right - someone did come along and want me. I have a great
life!
